Why would you want to visit a pair of islands in the West Indies which are territories of France.... At least pick a set of islands that have nothing to do with the French
So I read this: www.lonelyplanet.com/destinations/caribbean/guadeloupe/index.htm but it didn't inspire me to go.
Very popular French holiday spot - looks like pretty much everywhere else in the neighbourhood. Only more French. Hmmm...
Sounds really good to me - secluded beaches, not spoiled by tourism etc. I guess you're not the type who'd consider a holiday in Khazakstan then?

Me? I like my tourism. We went to Honolulu in October and we still found secluded beaches. I like to shop and things on holiday. I <3 Disneyworld
Just Googled it and Google corrected it to Kazakhstan. Same place? If so, in answer to your question, eeeeeeewwwwwwwwww no!

Yeah thats the one. Excuse my spelling. I saw a documentary on "the stans" where this guy went all the places ending in "stan". And they were all pretty miserable. I'm trying to remember which was worst, I think Uzbekistan was pretty awful.

The number of places you've visited, especially in the United States, just amazes me. I certainly haven't made it all the way to Hawaii yet--and there's a good chance I never will. What's next on the agenda?

America wise I wanna go to Ohio to do Cedar Point & Six Flags and another trip to New York. In reality it will probably be a trip to Virginia Beach to visit family friends.
P.S. I think I must have been an American in a former life. I can't get enough of the place. All I need now is a nice American husband.....

Get in line for the husband. I think the pickings are pretty thin--at least around these parts.

Ohio for your next trip to the U.S.? I never would have called that one. I've passed through Ohio a few times on the way to other places. Used the toilets along the highway. That's about it.
I've heard of Cedar Point and Six Flags. There are a whole bunch of Six Flags amusement parks. We've even got one here in New Jersey, which you could easily get to the next time you visit New York.
As for me, I really like traveling in the western part of the U.S., because it's so different from where I live. I love the mountains, the deserts, the canyons. It's just fantastic and I've taken my last few vacations out there. Actually got in my little car and drove it 3,000 miles across North America last spring from New Jersey to California--and then another 3,000 miles back. LOTS of driving, since I was by myself. None of my friends would do it with me. There were a couple of scary incidents, but I had a great time.
Ever thinkg of going to New Orleans, by the way? I bet you'd like it.
Partially raised in America as a kid, miss it like hell. Florida and Boston are my home away from home
I wouldn't say no. When we were last in Florida my boy flew to New Orleans for a couple of days to go to one of his friends weddings. I wasn't 'allowed' to go, lol.
