When you do something fairly spontaneous and turns out all wrong. Like booking 2 expensive tickets to see Sharon Osbourne in the Vagina Monologues, only for her to pull out days before you're meant to see her.

I hate it when people have mobile phones but either leave them switched off or at home My mum does it all the time.

When folks think that just because I have a phone it automatically means i want to answer the phone

And people who try to cut you up whilst your driving, then gesture madly when they fail and you box them in for the next 4 miles. Courtesy costs nothing!!!

The thing that drives me mad more than anything is when people come to my house, finish a box/carton or whatever but throw it in the regular trash rather than the recycling bin. I'm so anal about recycling

people who screw up pieces of paper into a ball and throw them towards the bin, missing completely and then not bothering to pick them up and actually put them in the bin.

When my sister leaves the bathroom light on (it's next to my room) and it has a really loud fan which keeps me awake at night. Grrr. Oh and when people let their dogs poo on the pavement

People who are late, noticeably late and don't call to let you know that they're being late and you're hanging around waiting for them...

And i'm kinda guilty about the mobile phone one... sometimes i forget to switch mine on, more often than not, i just don't hear it ringing.

Another one is kids chucking litter on the ground when the litter bin is literally a foot away from them... drives me crazy...

Friends that think they never need to call because you'll call them at some point.

I'm guilty of a few of the things mentioned in here so far. And I'm currently too happy to think about things that annoy me. So this is a fairly pointless reply! Did that annoy anyone?

*People putting empty cartons back in the fridge/ cupboard - why, why, why?!?!?

*People not wiping things up after they have spilt something on the kitchen worktop, it takes like 2 seconds people!

*People not recycling, the appropriate bags are *right* there, you just have to stretch that whole inch further!

*People not putting a new toliet roll on the holder if they have just used the last of a roll.

Hmm, can you tell I have a thing about kitchens and bathrooms? lol. Oh and also...

*My little brother! He's a pointless thing and he drives me mental!

One that happened to me on Saturday - woman in supermarket carpark who takes her trolley, and walks it over to the empty space next to our car, then leaves trolley right beside our car door. The trolley parking bit was the same distance away in a different direction! *Then* she had the cheek to be very rude indeed to me when I said that perhaps we didn't want her trolley... GAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!

Also, people online who interpret "I have a different opinion from you" as a blatantly insulting and awful personal attack on themselves and everything they've ever thought or stood for. People have different opinions, chill.

Prospective employers who say they'll call you with a 'decision' but never do.

It's not like I've ever applied for a job where there are hundreds of people applying.
How hard is it to give a phone call/email/standardised letter to the unsuccessful applicant?
It's just damn rude & it bugs the heck outta me!!

People who have sound systems with huge speakers installed in their cars, then drive around with the music blaring so loud that you can hear them coming when they're blocks away.

Folks who throw their trash out of their car windows. Is it so hard to just take it where they're going and put it in a garbage can?

Those logos and adverts that they put in the corner of the screen during a TV show. Really distracting.

The fact that I haven't won a million dollars or so in the lottery. Really bugs me.

I would like to add people who leave their washing up in the bowl to be done later. Presumably by you, as it can sit there for days...

Or clog the sink up with uneaten food instead of scraping it off into the bin/compost pile/anywhere but the <edit> sink!

Or leave clothes in the washing machine and tumble dryer for over 24 hours...

Hmmm, think I need to move house.
