Well I thought I'd post Tangent 21's first ever wrestling thread so here we go.

Anybody watch Wrestlemania and if so what did you think??

Match by match I'd say this...

RVD Vs William Regal - Pretty solid matchup with the usual from these two..thought Regal was going to steal another win with the brass knuckles and was chuffed to see RVD win...hopefully Regals whole brass knuckles angle will be dropped now.

DDP Vs Christian - Okay match-up which kept me entertained. Thought Christian would get the win and was glad to see DDP win it. DDP with some mic time as well was good.

Angle Vs Kane - Great match as all of the Kane/Angle matches are.

Undertaker Vs Flair - I enjoyed this match-up although the sight of Ric Flair's saggy man-breasts is a bit off-putting. Liked the Arn Anderson involvement but I thought David Flair would turn up and screw his dad..lots of other good spots though. 10-0 to the Undertaker

Maven Vs Goldust - I hate the hardcore title as the matches are all the same more or less..but i liked the finish to this with everyone running around the arena for the rest of the show using the 24/7 rule to win the title...Hardcore title was at it's best when Crash Holly was the Houdini of Hardcore so hopefully they'll get that sort of angle going again.

Edge Vs Booker T - Seeing as this matchup came about because of an argument over shampoo it was quite good. Liked the Edge-arooni

Austin Vs Hall - Good match, some good spots and Austin's double stunner at the end on Hall was brilliant.

Hardys Vs Dudleys Vs APA Vs Chuck & Suck - It was obvious that Chuck & Suck were going to keep the titles. APA looked totally uninterested in this match. Got better once they were eliminated but the Dudleys ought to learn not to set up tables and not use them as 9 times out of ten it's one of them that eventually goes through it. Sadly I think I'm starting to like Chuck & Sucks music

Rock Vs Hogan - Match of the night easily..the crowd popped so loud for Hogan and Rock was actually getting 'Rocky Sucks' chants at points during the match. The finish was brilliant seeing Hogan do the 'hulking-up' thing and Rock having to Rock Bottom Hogan 3 times plus The People's Elbow to defeat him. The handshake at the end was good as was Hogan's face-off with the nWo...only thing that was missing was the 'Real American' music to top it all of.

Trish Vs Jazz Vs Lita - Staple womens match with some good spots but placed badly on the card after the Rock/Hogan matchup..they'd have been better doing this match earlier and carrying the crowd momentum through to the HHH/Jericho match.

HHH Vs Jericho - Good match. Liked the way HHH sold all the hits to his injured leg. And The Game won which made me well happy

Other points about the PPV..I liked most of the live music played although it looks like the crowd weren't really into it. The Rock/Coach interview was the funniest thing off the night "Wha's up G, Coach here" classic. Stacy Keibler had to be the hottest women on show although Steph and Trish were both up there.

Best PPV I've seen for a long time 9/10
