You may not want to look at this link if you are averse to being surprised. Not for the fainthearted.
Click on the link below and see if you can find what's
wrong with the picture it shows. You have to look closely at the picture
because it's all in the detail.
PS Have the sound turned up on your computer because you'll hear a clue
after about 30 seconds.
Sange It's only kinky the first time!!! after that it's just the Norm ;o)
I got sent this by someone ..... and I looked at it gone midnight one night and couldnt sleep for hours
Joe "Aren't you a little short for a storm trooper?"
Someone posted this in a discussion in Independent Argument, and we were just lucky our daughter wasn't looking at the screen because it's a pretty shoddy prank. There's a similar pic going round where a mysterious figure seems to flit through a door and offscreen, but this is something else.
Got emailed it, looked at it, jumped, and then thought 'That was clever.'
There was no intention to upset people but with hindsight, although it would have somewhat spoilt the effect, should probably have put some kind of warning.
No real harm done Inc... what i should've done in hindsight is had a look a little later when she wasn't in the room.. but it was the noise that scared her more than anything else, and she quickly calmed down...
My cat was sitting on top of the monitor when I clicked on this link. This is cute, but he always gets pissed off when I ask him to stop switching his tail in front of the monitor screen, and meows and bats at me. I always lose this battle so I have to sway my head back and forth in order to see around the moving tail.
My speakers are in my monitor, and I had them turned way up. This made him move. It made him move like three rooms away in two seconds. Hee hee hee hee hee.
I don't consider myself particularly faint-hearted or adverse to surprises, but do have overly-developed reflexes and survival instincts, so..
Do NOT go to this link in a lab or work environment! Not only did I nearly fall off the stool, my yell brought 3 people running to find out what I'd done to myself. No doubt I'll see the funny side - eventually, but I also made a lot of people alarmed and worried, and could have disrupted experiments - possibly with dangerous consequences.
At home, it could be funny, but not here.

Eve "There's no secret handshake. There's an IQ prerequisite, but there's no secret handshake"
oh dear god that scared the s**t out of me!!!
Whistler"I wonder wonder why the wonder falls. I wonder why the wonder falls on me. I wonder wonder why the wonder falls, with everything I touch and hear and see."
Hmmmm, just as well that I couldn't download the image at work. Even then, I don't have sound on my terminal.
Anyway, having clicked on it at home, I can see how this could quite easily give someone a nasty shock. I think that if anyone else has links like this in future, they put a suitable warning up.
