The summary Blair used to persuade parliament that Britain should go to war was unequivocal, but the advice itself, written a week before, is riddled with doubts. Blair kept this from both the cabinet and parliament.

The press is having a feeding frenzy, most of them, across the political spectrum, openly calling the prime minister a liar. It's a rare day you'll find me and 'Daily Mail' leaders of one mind, but I'm in full agreement with the closing line of today's offering: "This man is not fit to be prime minster."
