its ok i think i found one, all of a sudden ebay is full of them
I need a green landrover
ok I promised this american bird a green landrover. When I get her one she has agreed to marry me. So I need to find a cheap land rover, not a real one of course but maybe some sorta little toy one, i've searched on ebay a few times and found nothing, anyone got any idea where I can get one for under a fiver? If its not green I can always paint it!

Comfy?! What kind of definition of comfy do you have? A Rolls Royce is comfy (I'm guessing), a land rover is bumpy as hell!
The Discovery could be considered to be comfy. But many would dispute that they are Land Rovers in name only and not a lot else.

Pffft- I disagree! I've had mine offroad, hoofed through snowdrifts and gone through deep water, and it's a little more top heavy than the defender, but it can still take just about anything you throw at it! It has the same diff lock and high/low ratio gearing that the Defender has, too...
I love my Disco- though having driven mine in both Edinburgh and Glasgow, I can't comprehend why anyone who lives in a city would want one, as they don't like doing a lot of slow stopping and starting, and you sure as heck can't get into a multistorey car park, it's too tall, lol.

But I'm afraid that I see Land-Rovers as being farm vehicles. And people who claim to be from the country as being from farming communities. Thus I assume land-rovers to be just land-rovers, not Discoverys or Defenders, just things to drive across fields...
Landrover Discovery's are very comfortable. The new ones are built to be very comfy. My dad has a new £40,000 with sat nav and DVD player. Although I've never seen it.
