I just read this here.

I think its really brave of Kylie announce what is a very private thing so publicly. It would have been easy to state "personal reasons" and endure endless pregnancy rumours.

*fingers crossed* for her (and another friend of mine who's recieving treatment at the moment)

Not a fan myself but hope everything goes ok for her, because no woman deserves that.

What a shock! When I saw her just under 2 weeks ago she must have either had a biopsy or at least been worried enough to make her initial consultation appointments yet still managed to be brave enough to put on fantastic performances.

This is such a horrible shock. She doesn't deserve this. I'm hoping she undergoes a complete recovery.

My mother's biopsy results ought to be in today as well, so was a bit of a shock to hear that this morning. Meap.

A lot of celebs don't have much say in the matter -- they know it'll leak out even if they want it kept private, so often the best they can do is try and control the announcement a little.

When Anastacia was diagnosed with breast cancer it got leaked before she'd had the chance to tell most of her friends & family.

Terrible news. Best wishes to her.

It is in females, yes. Overall though (guys and girls) i think lung cancer takes it cos of all the smoking.
