Argh I was walking down the road this morning and I felt something crawling along my collar, so I looked down and there was this huge green beetle (about the size of 10p) crawling along the collar of my shirt, so I did the sensible and mature thing and started running around like a crazy woman, slapping my neck and shaking my shirt in order to get it off. Now my neighbour saw and probably thinks I'm insane, but the worst thing is, no one has a problem with insects! I hate the things, I especially hate Summer because it brings about flying ants (ick i can feel them now!) but people keep telling me "oh they can't hurt you, it's not like wasps or bees). Does anyone else have a phobia of harmless insects? And has anyone else seen these really weird green beetle things, or is it just an Essex thing? They look like a minature leaf, with legs.
