And what did my eye spy today.... The Pentagon revised their doctrine for the use of nuclear weapons! It envisions commanders requesting presidential approval to use them to preempt an attack by a nation or a terrorist group using weapons of mass destruction and includes the option of using nuclear arms to destroy known enemy stockpiles of nuclear, biological or chemical weapons.

That you bomb stockpiles is possibly understandable...... but bombing nations or terrorist groups sounds seriously stupid. Especially considering the amount of innocent people you are going to hurt (as terrorist groups are very capable of living amongst "normal" people. Also if you bomb nations.... do all those people agree with the decisions their leaders make (and would their leaders even care....). Sounds a lot to me they are trying to make an even bigger "gun slinging bully" out of America

I guess it's one way of avoiding the embarrisment of not finding proof of WMD's..... yeah the nuke destroyed it all......

Also how do you define "preempt using".... Does that mean you nuke them the moment they built them as because they built it they will use it against us....... or what?!? Sounds a lot like a license to nuke any country that develops weapons technology American feels they shouldn't have...
