I used to love watching Two Ronnies and Open All Hours re-runs. He was such a great actor.

Sorry to see him go. He was a very funny man who wrote and starred in a lot of the all-time classic comedy sketches. And Porridge was a great series.
And I'm now going to steal a tribute that someone put on another website, because it made me giggle. I'll be lighting four candles in memory of him tonight...
RIP Ronnie.

I loved the Phantom Raspberry Blower when I was a kid.
RIP Ronnie!
Sad that he has gone. Much of his work was before my time, but I do have some 1/2 price tickets to the 2 ronnies....
He actually retired from tv about 10 years ago to concentrate on running a real-life antiques business. Perhaps it's because he'd been out of the public eye for a while and little Ronnie was still on the screens

I was speaking to a chap on the phone this evening and he was stuttering and it made me chuckle in my head because I was thinking of Arkwright Some of the comedy sketches the two Ronnies did were very basic, but very funny
