I had zero assertiveness or self-confidence at school... I found the latter in the years after I left, including (but not exclusively) my student years. Assertiveness came later, but that's pretty much in place now too. In fact, now I often visitng farmyards in search of geese to say 'boo' to.
So, yes, major changes - and all (so far) achieved without losing my hair. (Okay, my beard's going grey and I look like I stuffed a pillow down my shirt but, hey, nobody's perfect, right?)

Yep - have changed a hell of a lot me!
When I was a child I was so shy and quiet, wouldn't say boo to a goose.
Then when I left school I "found" myself and became loud, lary and got myself an attitude at long last. I actually got confidence in myself. Partied all day and night and loved life basically.
Now I'm married and a mother, the partying has gone (well, almost!) but the confidence and attitude is still there. God help anyone who hurt my daughter - there is a tiger within me now
