I cannot wait til it snows here because then i can wear my very funky wellies to lectures we never get snow ooop north cos we're on the coast and the salt in the air melts it

It just started to snow here but as it has been raining all day the ground is very wet so I doubt it'll really get white here.

Not a flake of snow has hit my part of the world (which makes a change) and it's been a beautiful crisp Winter's day too. Hannah, on the other hand, is *praying* we get snow soon

I had snow!

We were supposed to get a "dusting" of snow in the New York City area for Thanksgiving, but it didn't snow at all. So no snow yet this season. I'm sooooo pleased, because I hate snow. I mean, really hate it. After you've spent an hour after each snowfall, outside with your toes and fingers freezing off, digging your car out of a huge snowbank, it sort of loses its appeal.

Snowed here in Cambridge this afternoon, but didn't lay. Bad news for people investing in college scalves and snowmen on quadrangles, good news for people who don't like freezing their nads off and ducking snowball/glass combos from the local yobbos.

Love snow, just to take the old car to the empty car park at night when it has been snowing and just do 360 spins and handbreak turns etc. They changes the layout of the carpark now though as there are now polls sticking out of the ground and big concrete buckets for flowers... in other words I'm so not going to risk that

I love snow. I don't get why people don't enjoy it! It snowed quite a bit, but didn't lay. I hope it snows again

Snow is terrific, it makes everything look nice however if you have to go to your work and you see the amount of traffic jams the lovely white stuff causes..... Public transport which is majorly delayed or doesn't run at all... Old people that don't dare to go out of their houses as they are afraid to fall and break their hips.... And if you live in the wrong neighborhood all the snowballs (with rocks in them) you get thrown at yourself or at your windows...

It is beautiful stuff but it does have its drawbacks and I don't think there are many people that don't like the snow itself but they just aren't too keen on the drawbacks As hardly anyone hates snow when it's around Christmas when most people are off anyways.

I love snow. I hate the cold, so if it's got to be this cold then the least it could do is snow. It looks beautiful and lunch-time snowball fights in the square makes work go faster. And I'll even put up with having to walk all the way home through several inches of snow because the tubes are knackered and the traffic on the roads isn't moving.

But we've had no snow in London so far...

Apparently it's snowing in Darwen but I'm not there to see it

See unless I have somewhere I really need to be, like last year I had a hospital appointment and had to walk a mile in blizzard like conditions to the bus stop I don't go out. The schools normally panic and shut here anyway. And I refused to drive in the awful conditions to work. I understand that people find it difficult but I don't get why other countries except the UK doesn't panic about snow.

I got snow today! Woo hoo!!!

Unfortunately, it also means that I'll get ice tomorrow. Boo!!

But at least I had a chance to creative in the garden *g*

Looked at your 'snowman' again and it still looks like an owl to me. Why the sudden change of heart about the snow? We were almost crying at the thought of it last weekend?

Aha, I like snow (for the first few days). I just don't like snow/sludge/ice on the roads. And he does look a bit owl-ish. If he looks anything like a snowman by the time I get home (doubt it 'cos the sun's out) I'll give him little stick arms
