After some of the development work I was doing got slightly delayed yesterday I really have to start back on my Thesis. Some of you might have noticed a slight downtime as we had to restart the T21 server as we couldn't login anymore (something with wrong with the ssh daemon however still need to look at the logs to be sure). Hopefully I'll get some time to finish what I started yesterday (fix the SQL and make it look nice) so we can introduce a new feature (only a little one) on the frontpage somewhere this week.

Everyone else from our team is out today so I’m the only one here. We’re also taking on another team’s work as their Editor is at a conference in Hawaii (!), so I’m snowed under. Needless to say I can still find time to faff around on the internet

I need to book some time off for a long weekend away early next year. I won’t be able to speak to my boss until Tuesday next week though (as she’s currently in LA ). Last time this happened the cost of flights went up and my plans fell though (although I did end up going somewhere much better instead!), so hopefully that won’t happen this time.

I need to order a new phone today. I’m getting one of those Aye toons in your phone boiby phones, not because it’s good, but because it’s cheap I also need to call Three to cancel my current contract. No doubt I’ll get daily calls from them for the next month trying to persuade me to stay, like I did when I left Vodafone

Well, I'm at work essentially doing data entry (yuck) and waiting for half 3 to come around so that I can have a cuppa! I'm working at Lambeth Palace library as an Archives assistant and basically fetch and carry, only this week I get to sit out the back with my music and input stuff into the archives catalogue...boring, but at least I get to sing along to Yellowcard

Going to write some xmas cards and possibly do some wrapping tonight, although I'll probably end up playing the Sims 2 or something

I had my last clinic at Kettering today

Not done a lot else really. Matt's mum came to visit yesterday and stayed over. She's now enjoying the delights of Matt's bingo calling at work

Firstly, i was on a train with David Walliams (apparently it's not williams lol) and Matt Lucas (Little britain for those who didn't know). I only noticed David walliams first cos he was tall and Matt Lucas is tiny so i coudlnt' see him. Everyone was taking photos of them and David looked a bit pissed off lol. I wanted to take a piccy but i was scared of being battered hehe.

Then when i was queueing to show my ticket back in blackpool station they were standing in front of me and Matt Lucas pulled up his trousers cos his stripy boxers were showing....niiiiceeeee :-/

Anyways, i went to Leeds to go see Caroline. It was muchos fun and included crazy things like "i hadn't realised that the trees had fallen off the leaves" and something to do with chocolate round her mouth lol.

We just sat, gossiped and ate, my two favourite things!

I also got a 20% discount on a bottle of water because i was paying in pennies so the guy guessed i was a student so gave me a discount cos i looked like i needed helping out lmao!

There's also roadworks right outside my housewith traffic lights there. grrr

Today I have been in agony. My muscles ache like hell. Never am I ice skating again - Ever!!

Well i had a good weekend my rugb team won, and i had a few drinks.

Its back to sodding work today, going to be lots of overtime this week due to the Explosion(I work for a big company that replaces glass and frames for the insurance industry).

Anyhow ive got to get some sleep now all you have a good week.

Work was OK today. Bit slow though. The highlight was a very tricky numbers round on Countdown. Lol! I did get it, but it took way more than 30 seconds.

I might have started my christmas shopping today. I'm not sure though. Well I bought something for my sister... but I'm considering keeping it for myself! Lol!

Watched the Space Cadets launch show tonight. Cool stuff. The actor dude was funny. And it did seem as if it was all quite impressive and convincing. LMAO about the moth flying around meaning they couldn't show the screen with the earth on though!

Then afterwards I watched A Hard Day's Night. I wanna see the other Beatles films, this is the only one I've ever seen. It is good though, lots of silliness and lots of coolness and lots of catchy, groovy pop tunes.

Anyhoo, bed now. I've been tired all day and yet I haven't bothered to get an early night. I really need to get over my phobia of going to bed...

My parents used to record Countdown and then watch it at night. They'd pause the numbers round until they got it right!
