I'm an Auntie and it's a boy (but we already knew that)
He's gorgeous (in a scrunched up, little ugly old man kind of way, lol). I'm not gonna call him Ashton yet 'cos I'm sure I can convince my sister otherwise - hee hee.
He's in the baby ICU at the moment 'cos he has a bit of fluid on his lungs but apart from that he's just perfect. I cried like a big baby when I saw him and was a bit pissed off that I couldn't have a cuddle 'cos he was on a drip and having tests done. Poor little mite got a jab in his thigh while I was there.. I loved him like one of my own straight away. By the time I left my sister at 2pm she'd been seperated from him for about 4hrs and was missing him dreadfully. I did take a video of him for him with the digi cam and left that with her so she could record more later.
Hannah scared the living daylights out of me today by coming down with a red blotchy rash on her stomach, chest and back. As it's doing the rounds at school, i thought it might be chicken pox as she'd been a bit poorly at the weekend but our GP has said that it's a viral thing, the spots aren't chicken pox spots, so phew!... though i'm expecting her to catch it sometime soon, just not at Christmas!.
And both my kids are finished for the Christmas holidays
