Before anyone starts moaning to me about drivers stiking again , this time it's the station staff, who are worried about job cuts. I personally think that the strike won't go ahead but will update more when i hear anything about it at work.

I have to say that's my feeling too. Striking on New Years Eve will cause so much mayhem that I'm sure the Powers That Be will do anything they can to stop it... That's my opinion anyway...

I'm guessing you'll have a quiet New Year then when I tell you that a friend of mine was made redundant this week due to a shortage of orders over the New Years holiday. Have fun moping.

Luckily I'm not going up to London this New Years, but I hope the strike doesn't go ahead as I know people who are going up.

It must suck to work on public transport this time of year..

And with that said it appears the the London Underground are going to 'try and run as full a service as possible'. Believe it or not there are also certain overground services running until 5am!!
