I got Guys and Dolls seats for £30 and the show was amazing. London Dungeons is always cool. To be honest I just like seeing the real London, the lovely Georgian houses, Hyde Park, places like Manchester Square. Do a red bus tour, it's always fun. I did the Harrods bus tour, they treat you like royalty and you get to see the whole of London too.

Right then, I've got the olds coming to visit me in May and I'm needing to come up with ideas for stuff to keep them busy. They've been down twice before and have done the London Bus Tour but other than that they haven't done much. Mum won't do the London Eye as she is terrified of heights.
I know I wanna get them to see a show though, any thoughts on which one is best? The only 2 that stick in my mind are Chicago or We Will Rock You. And if anyone knows of a way to get decent seats for less that £125 all in for 2 tickets, then it'd be much obliged (Must resist to not go on a rant about ticketing charges)...
We're only gonna be in the city for one day (or 2 if there is loads to see and do) to try and keep transport costs down. Seeing as my bro and his girlfriend are also in tow, I don't fancy telling them they are all gonna have to pay £6.10 just for a days travel
Pretty shocking seeing as I've lived here for 4 years innit?

How about a boat tour along the Thames? I went on one recently with work (well it wasn't a proper tour, we just hired a boat) and it's a really cool and different way to see the sights. I've no idea how much they cost though.
As for shows, We Will Rock You is cool, haven't seen Chicago but I do really want to. Also, starting next month is One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest with Christian Slater in the lead role. This got great reviews on it's last run and is another one that I want to see.
For other stuff there's the zoo and several assorted museums around the place. If it's a nice day you could go to one of the parks or to Kew Gardens or something. Or there's always shops and markets, Portobello Road market or Camden's markets always have lots of interesting stalls and shops to look around. It really depends on what kinda stuff they enjoy...

If you're willing to take a gamble, there's always the cut-price ticket booth in the middle of Leicster Square. Or if you want to contact the theatres direct, there's often cut-prince returns available at the last minute.

Alternatively the National Theatre have their £10 per ticket Travellex deal if you fancy anything there.
