Over the last few days we've been having some issues with our hosting. Some of you might have noticed this due to strange errors or not being able to access T21 at all. This had nothing to do with the site itself but with the machine it was hosted on. To keep costs down we have a virtual server (instead of a dedicated server) which means that we share a physical machine with multiple websites yet we all have our own dedicated bit of system resources (CPU / Memory / Hard disk space). From what we have been able to assess from our communications with our hosting provider is that a couple of the virtual machines that we share our physical server with have been misconfigured which causes them to use all the available disk i/o which meant that we couldn't access our bit of the harddisk causing long delays when retrieving webpages etc. Hopefully the problem is sorted as some virtual machines have been moved to other physical servers so the physical server we run on isn't stressed as much, but we'll have to just wait and see how it goes.

If you can't access T21 or get strange errors in the next couple of days this is most likely due to this issue and we'll inform the support staff at our hosting provider as quickly as possible so they can correct the problems. So don't be sad / happy that T21 is down as we will be back shortly
