I finally quit my job :)
I tried to quit for *weeks* cause i *really* didnt like it and at the moment, I just have *loads* of stuff to study for finals and no time for work. They always made me stay saying that they didnt have enough waitresses ( which is their own fault , 5 people quit because they are going to graduate and we told them we would at the beginning of the year. Time enough for them to get new ones)I just stayed because i didnt want to let them down.Last week i told them today would be my last day and what did they do? scheduled me for the whole easter weekend. So i told them that i quit today but that I' d ask a friend if she could work next weekend and, although it would mean inconvenience, i told them I' d come a last time. The reaction of that woman just blew me away. She was *soo* mean, telling me "how could i let them down like that." and that she thinks *I* am unfair and stuff. oook, so I am trying to help and she calls me *unfair* Rrright. Now its her problem. I told her I wouldnt come back again now, she just cant expect me to let her treat me like that.I DID IT! I *finally* quit. Happy about that, although I am sad it ended in that way. Aanyways. Just letting you know about my *happy* news

Well, I've got the same problem in that I've got A Levels coming up and I don't think I can handle work for much longer...I'm going to try and get the exam period off work

I quit a job a while back, just as the compnay was moving office. They moaned at me because of it, but I was not able to be there due to the drugs I was on for a dental problem. They moaned again about it and it was then that I stated that I stuck around an extra month to see the move through, even though I could have already started the new job at four times the rate of pay at the beginning of the month. They did not moan again.

i was wondering why i hadn't seen this. Then when i realised it was a year ago. Then i wondered why i hadn't posted and realised i was ill in hospital.....sooo, congrats (1 year later )
