Throughout my life, I have never had much luck with window cleaners. I think they must know all my deepest darkeat secrets, as once i left the window open when i was having a deep discussion with my mate, and we had no idea he was outside and could hear it all.

Once, I had just come out the shower, and standing opposite me was my window cleaner - peering in!
It's just so embarassing, is my window cleaner just a pervert, or has anyone else had this sort of luck?

God!! I know exactly what you mean! My window cleaner always seems to be about when I really don't want him about. He's caught me semi naked before, which was very very embarassing and he's also been pottering about when I had a very bad stomach virus and could not stop throwing up although he did'nt see anything it was not what I needed. If it was up to me I would get out there and clean the darn windows myself, but it's not my house!

I really hate people peering through my windows it's an invasion of privacy and you never know when they are going to pop up!

its odd, i can't say i've ever in my life seen a window cleaner in stevenage even cleaning council houses i think its yo to the people living there to do it. anyway whats so bad about it? havn't you seen that film where he, well you know? all the women love him in that.

Well.

I have a window cleaning story for y'all.

When I was at school I had a evening/weekend job. One of the girls there mentioned her dad was a window cleaner when I complaining that mum had me cleaning the windows off a ladder and I hate heights!

Anyway, we arranged for him to come round and do mums windows, cos you never really see window cleaners advertise anywhere and I thought, hey it will get me out of a job. He comes round and starts cleaning the windows. Cool.


wait.. theres a BUT (didn't you just see it coming?)


If you've ever been to my house, you'll know its a pretty small cottage. there were 8 windows to clean, no conservatory, no patio door or anything.

and it cost £12.50 Does that seem like a lot to you?

Mum made me pay it too

he never came again - but I'm like Whaaaaaaat? WAY overpriced if you ask me.

Since then we have a lovely old man who comes and does them. He tends to talk *alot* about his daughter and his grandkids though, which is sweet, but he ends up costing you more in cups of coffee than you paid him to do the windows!!

yeh we pay about 3 pounds too...i've had the same window cleaner for years.

I've been living here for nearly 4 years and in all that time I've never managed to find a window cleaner! You CAN still see out of my windows, just about!!! Apparently someone does come round but as I'm surrounded by houses with either retired people in or nightworkers the cleaners come along during the week while I'm at work so I've never managed to get on the list. Oh well, it rains a lot!!

My last place was a top floor flat in Bristol and we NEVER got any warning when the window cleaners were coming round. He saw some horrible sights, I can assure you!!!

Well we've had the same Window Cleaner for years and me and my mum have noticed that in the last few years he's started to be really nice to my mum. And this was since my dad moved out. The window cleaner flirts with my mum!
