The amount you paid for it all doesn't make the slightest difference to it, it's all old technology (3 years in technological terms is *ancient*).
Coupled with the fact that there is not much of a market, and nobody in their right mind would pay more than about £40-45 for that whole set-up, £20 the pawn shop offered you is about right, after all, they've got to make some money on it. A pawn shop might not be the best place to sell it anyway, try a shop like EB which deal in secondhand games and hardware.
You might have better luck with a private sale in the classified ads, but don't be surprised if nobody touches it with a barge-pole at anything over about £45..

I just did a check on ebay, Identical systems to yours are going for £30-35 with an expansion pack thrown in too.
Anything over £50 doesn't sell, unless it's got 10-20 games.
