Gladiator was pretty good, and Lethal Weapon 4 had tonnes of stuff on.

I'm working my way through the extras on the R1 Jay and Silent Bob DVD, so I'll let you know about that one when I've finished!

I thought the Shrek features were good but the funniest thing I've seen on a DVD's feature was a deleted scene in Scary Movie...where two of the characters are having sex...makes me ROFLMAO everytime I watch it.

The karaoke thing is hilarious

on the matrix dvd i read somewhere there was a jukebox thing on it or something, wheres that then how do i find it? i found the woman in the red dress and a few other things but not the jukebox.

Amen to that Tycho! I like DVDs that have bloopers or deleted scenes on them.

We like hunting for the Easter Eggs

I like de;eted/extended scenes and listening to commentries if they add anything to the whole thing(Kevin Smiths are great).

Honestly ... the best feature on any DVD is improved picture and sound quality.

The ability to rapidly access any episode of a TV series is also great.

In terms of genuine 'extras', the Shrek Karaoke Party is quite brilliant but my favourite would have to be the 'Making of' documentary on the Jaws 25th Anniversary Edition disc.

I've got to say, I'm quite a fan of outtakes on DVDs. Wouldn't mind knowing when they are going to release The Cannonball Run 2 either

What's the difference between the R1 and R2 versions of T2? They're both called the Ultimate Edition and they're both 2-disc sets. I remember when the R1 version came out, I read that it had 3 versions of the film on it, the normal version, the director's cut and a hidden, never-before-seen third version. Is this true? The R2 version seems to have the director's cut only, but it has a lot of other extras, does the R1 version have all these?

I'm really not that bothered about extras. They're nice, but mostly stuff you'll watch once and then never again, so for me the actual main content is much more important.

That said, I'm very much looking forward to Joss's commentary on 'Restless'.
