28 Days Later

Does anybody know when this film is due to be released on dvd and/or rental. More to the point is it any good?
I really meant to go and see it, and before I got chance it was gone, and I feel like I've waited about 2 years for it's release.

I can't believe I didn't post anything about it on here because it was a great film, and I even reviewed it for another site (see link below). Definitely worth purchasing, I would say.

Incandenza It's not a zero-sum game.

It's fun but very very derivative... you'd be better off watching one of the George A Romero zombie trilogy IMO.

The story doesn't make a whole lot of sense but it is directed with a lot of style.

I love George A romero films I watch them every time there on, I'm still trying to get my better half to buy me them from what you have all said, I can't wait for this film even more!!!!!

nemesis "man im sooo good..and theyre so dumb!"

oh dear gods i was sooooo bored when i went to see this movie i even wanted to walk out of the screen which i have never wanted to do myself. it was badly filmed, badly acted,, the story was dull and the idea unbleievable, oh im supposssed to be soo scared of a load of zombies with 'rage issues' i kept wanting to see a load in therapy with a councellor!! that would have been funny.
the only good points i could dissect from it were the relationship between the father and child and the site of all the rats in the blackwall tunnel running from the zombie hoard.
but please if a plague that is supposssed to effect a country in 28 days there would be bodies everywhere, as these zombies do not want to eat your brains just kill you nastily and leave you. so the site of london deserted with one lonely over turned bus going to elephant and castle (sorry not that unlikely

does not make for a good effect.London would be full of bodies even with a full evcuation in effect and there would be a lot more chaos and disorder than one overturned bus.
