Heeeeeeeeeeere's Music Forum :)

As the person who, well, 'officially' asked about this forum being a possibility a little while back now it gives me a really big smile on my face to be able to say welcome to the music forum
As adepts, myself and FG will be responsible for posting up interesting content and (hopefully!) answering music-topic questions. MonSTeR is the staff member who will be moderating this forum.
It doesn't really need explaining, but just in case; this forum is for posting about music in - anything from pop to metal to r'n'b to rap to country to classical to...well, you name it, it can go in here.
If you want some ideas for what to post then hopefully as soon as the forum opens we'll put down some general interest topics that everyone should feel able to post in, to help get things up and running. Having said that, some people have already got their fingers on the posting button ready so lets not dally too much longer!
Really, anything that you think could be relevant in here probably is and so is welcome; album/single reviews, gig reviews (including reviews or thoughts on the venues if you want), news, if you need help tracking down a song or
an artist, discussion on which group has got the better dance routines - anything and everything pretty much.
We'll be having some ongoing threads such as What Are You Listening To?, Song of the Week, and some others that people can just post in as and when they wish to...might even rival some of the Games threads if they get busy
enough.
One more thing, *please* try to be tolerant of other people's musical tastes or preferences. Your view is just as valid as someone else's and so please respect what others have to say. This wouldn't be a discussion forum if we all thought the same - but if you *have* to let the world know how badly you dislike something, at least try
and put some thought into it.
We don't foresee any real problems, but if any do occur grab Mon (monster@tangent21.com) and bend his ear about it

OK, and also, with my t21-geek hat on, point out for anyone who hasn't spotted this little gem that you can click "Add Favourite" on the forum page to have the front page of the site tell you when there are new posts and stuff in the forum.

Mmmmmm, music! I just happening to be listening to some right now... Foo Fighters (There Is Nothing Left To Lose) as it happens...
I find it pretty cool that somebody (namely Ethan) has a quote relating to the importance of music, especially on the Music thread of all places!
