Who's going to be big/what new albums are you looking forward to in 2003?
Notice a pattern? 
If you've got any hot picks or just bands you think are all set to make an impact this coming year, let's hear em
As for albums, I'll be looking for some of the following (not all confirmed some are just based on news and aren't concrete):
Metallica
Marilyn Manson
Nine Inch Nails
Tapeworm (Trent Reznor/Maynard James Keenan long awaited side-project)
Blink 182
Deftones
Team Sleep (Deftones side-project)
A Perfect Circle (another Keenan side-project)
And hey, Guns n Roses might even release something

2003 should see the debut album from Eat the Day - Wes Borland's new band. It's hard to imagine that I won't like it

I think if the other GnR (Izzy et al) get something together that might provide something interesting.
Eat the Day have got tracks down and demos are floating around the net too

Train have a new CD coming out any time from February onwards so i'm looking forward to that.

The Calling's follow up album to Camino Palmero will be out in 2003. Alex and Aaron are currently working on it and replacing some band members who left. Its going to be their year!! With a european tour heading our way as well

Well the Manics, Garbage and the Offspring are all starting work on new albums in febury (can't spell) so I'll be looking for those, Offspring album should be out pretty soon as all the songs have been wrote in spare time as they normally do, by starting work all they mean is doing the production bit.

The main one for me is probably Linkin Park's new album. Also looking forward to Marilyn Manson's next album (I forget what it's called), wonder what it'll sound like... And if Guns n'Roses ever release Chinese Democracy then I'll be buying that.
I hadn't heard anything about the Manics' next album. I was actually quite resigned to believing the rumours of them splitting up. But if they have got another offering for us then Woo-hoo!

musically i'm rather looking forward to this year, as all of my favourite 3 bands have new albums coming out:
Everclear - Slow Motion Daydream (due March 11)
Wildhearts - (dunno name) (due May-ish)
NIN - (dunno name) (dunno when)
aside from those the lesser(?) highlights will be tapeworm, offspring & perfect circle, and possibly linkin park.
all of which will be a kind of homecoming given the direction my music tastes have bee taking of late... lets hope rock music can win me back *g*

I would like to see:
A new Lostprophets Album
Helen Love releasing more often than once every 3 years
A new Bis album (you can never have enough Bis)
PJ Harvey releasing something to redeem herself from her last album.
Rosita releasing an album (if they still exist)
Sunset Sound ditto.

Posted: 00:28 Jan 02 2003 oh dear god i hope so... they haven't toured anywhere since the one off the back of Vol II (*grr&fume*)... theres been a couple of low-key dates here and there, mainly SoCal tho. Art did a solo tour over last summer, but that was North America only, all of which means i've *still* never seen them live.

And as rumours are rumouring that this'll be last album as Greg & Craig will be off to raise families as Art gets more heavily into producing and running his own record label, theres all the more reason to hope they tour... (or play reading & leeds, i could cope with that too).
*fingers crossed* either way tho.

Bloodhound Gang have had a new album in the pipeline for quite a while too. I'm looking forward to hearing that whenever it reaches the light of day...
