still haven't heard the album yet!

I bought my copy off Play a week or so ago and got it on Saturday and it hasn't left my player since I LOVE it !!!! Sooooo glad I spent the cash on it

In a lapse from my usual angelic self (haha), I have a copy of this from my boyfriend and I love it. Although haven't had it in my posession for the past 2 weeks since my sister decided that whats mine is hers and whats hers is her own.

Anyway, love the album and yup, they are Linkin Parkish but they seem to do more with it, not every song sounds the same (no LP lovers hurt me please! )

I haven't heard much of their stuff yet, but there are some All About Eve ish tracks. Most of their stuff I've heard so far sounds a lot more like Lacuna Coil.

I think I might have to go out & buy some stuff by this band soon.

I read the review of the set they did at the Download festival and by all accounts it was pretty shocking. amy Lee was compared to a 'pokemon painted black'

Was mildy amused to discover that Evanescence are 'Christian Rock' since not a musical genre reknowned for producing anything remotely listenable to.

I think Bring me to Life is a superb track, but personally Tourniquet for me if without shadow of a doubt the best one on there.

I caught Evanescence on Totp's last night and personally without Paul McCoy doing the vocals it really impairs the track for me

Everybody's Fool is my current fav

In what way?

If you're expecting a studio track to be perfectly reproduced live then you haven't been to too many live gigs. 'Bring Me To Life' is a heavily produced track with layered harmonised vocals. Bit difficult to reproduce that in a live performance. You can't have a vocalist gining it his or her all without some loss in vocal 'quality'.

But, I'd rather have that, and a passionate performance, than lip-synching to a backing track.
