This week i've mostly been listening to...
Haven't had one of these for a while.
You should know what happens though. What song/album have you been listening to that you would recommend to other T21ers?

I've been listening to a lot of Nickelback this week. "Silver Side Up" was a CD i got a couple of Christmases ago that i played maybe three times and put away. I resurrected it at the beginning of the week and didn't realise what a damned good CD it is. And their new one is out soon too.

I'm very interested in hearing the Evanescense (did i spell that right?) CD.. i really like the two singles.. what's the verdict on it?.

Um, at the moment,
Alizee - Stuff I have downloaded & burnt to CD (French girl that was a one hit wonder with Moi.. Lolita a few years ago)
Life Without Buildings - Any Other City (erm, difficult to describe, a bit like dreaming when phrases & ideas repeat themselves in bizzare ways)
John Parish & polly Jean Harvey - Dance Hall At Louse Point (well, it's PJ Harvey really, that's about all i can say)
Liz Phair - Exile In Guyville (lots of "did she just sing what I thought she did" moments)

I've been on a bit of an 'A' kick recently and have had all 3 of their albums going round in my Hi-Fi. This weekend I've also been listening to The Darkness a fair bit. MmmmmmmmmGrowing on Me....
Posted: 03:26 Sep 21 2003 I think its well worth the money - I hjad in playing in my hifi for 2 weeks straight pretty mich. Thee's a nice mix on there of faster paced and spooky slow songs. If you like Bring Me To Life and My Immortal, then you should have no problems with the rest of the album

Anything by [Dutch] Kane that I can get my hands on
Linkin' Park - Meteora
Red Hot Chili Peppers - By The Way
and a bunch of other random stuff that few other people seem to dig like Counting Crows, Ezio, Tony Head (live), Chicane and DJ Sammy. Might be time to change the MP3 collection again...
Then again, there's plenty of Shoutcast net radio stations for those with a broadband connection. Been listening to radiostorm.com as they play lots of new metal / alternative with pauses between tracks (handy for the stream rip) and they have a load of American bands we'd rarely hear about.

I got my hands on a copy of Fallen by Evanescence and head2head, you're so right, it's such a good CD, i've listened to nothing else since Thursday. Favourites so far are "Bring Me To Life", "My Immortal" "Tourniquet" and "Hello". Thanks for the recommendation

I got my hands on the Dishwalla CD "Opaline"... for all you Smallville fans, this includes the track at the end of S2 ep "Ryan" called "Angels or Devils"... i recommend it, it's an awesome CD
