Just found out that support for this is gonna be Hoobastank.
Evanescence tour
It appears that Wembley registered members had priority tickets go on sale this morning for the gigs in May
The majority of tickets go on sale to the public on Saturday morning.
Gigs listed so far appear to be:
Wembley Arena: 24th May 2004
NEC Birmingham: 22nd May 2004
Sheffield: 20th May 2004

Where did you hear that mate? I've just done a web-search and according to the Evanescence home page the support is a band called Seether.

It's Seether and Hoobastank. It's on all the posters and advertising and stuff.

I also found out today that Seether's frontman is Amy whatserface's boyfriend. So *that*'s how they got on the bill...
Ahh I know that Seether are on the same record label as Evanescence. D/Loaded a track of theirs at work and it's brilliant. It's called 'Broken' and Amy Lee does some vocal work on it. Check it out..

WOW!!
That was amazing. If you can get tickets to see them in London tomorrow then GO!! You will not be disappointed.
Opening act was a band called The Glitteratzi. I was gutted as I'd been looking forward to seeing Hoobastank but they'd pulled out for unknown reasons. The Glitteratzi rocked though. First couple of songs were okay but the last 4 were brilliant. The singer had a real stage prescence and stomped round the stage with his mike attached to the mike stand. Some of the funnier moments...
During a break between tracks when he thanked everyone "for making 4 scruffy c***s from Leeds feel so welcome"
A pause during one of the songs where he said "Scream motherf*****s!!"
Next up was Seether. I'd had a hunt on the web for them before the gig so I'd know what to expect. They were good, not brilliant but good. Highlight had to be when they did a track called 'Broken' and Amy Lee came out to sing it with them. The crowd went wild and she looked *stunning* in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. The video for Broken can be downloaded/viewed from the Seether website and it's great.
After that it was the main event. Evanescence were brilliant. The whole crowd was going mental and singing along. Bring Me To Life was brilliant as were My Immortal and Going Under. Called a couple of peeps that I knew liked them so they could have a listen. All in all a great night, so glad I bought the tickets now.
Thanks to Gerri for coming along and keeping me company
