Any Yellowcard fans here?

Anyone that reads my journal will know I'm on a bit of a Yellowcard trip right now.

I was just wondering if there were any fans here? There most recent album Ocean Avenue was excellent IMO and they are the first band I know of that has an electric viola in it!

They also did a rather fantastic cover of Simple Minds' Don't You (forget About Me) (Something else that I have been bleating on about since the weekend).

They also have a new album expected out in the last quarter of the year...

yh i like yellowcard,.......i met a girl at uni who lent me the ocean avenue cd, and i couldn't stop playin it for months, so yh they're pretty cool, gutted tho cos i think they were touring and i think i missed out...

i'm quite tempted to buy their dvd, i don't actually know what it will be probably live stuff, which is always gd......

Another Yellowcard Fan here too...nicked a track off of my mates computer and was hooked from there! Ocean Avenue is also one of my faves,although I do like One for the Kids as well. Not so much of a fan of their earlier stuff...bit too far removed from Ocean's Avenue, still worth a listen though.

Oooooh...new album, I'll have to keep an eye out for that. Would love to see them live at some point too. I need to go to more gigs!

Not had the opportunity to find anything on them yet. I did see the MTV movie awards, but as I love Breakfast Club to bits I'm always going to be a sucker for that song anyway

It was a very different version done well.

Oooooh...new album, I'll have to keep an eye out for that. Would love to see them live at some point too. I need to go to more gigs!

Just heard that the new album was originally scheduled for October, but it has been put back to 'first thing next year' as per the band as they weren't happy with the current state of it.
