Must have been someone else then. This would have been over a year ago, and I don't think Arctic Monkeys were even breaking into the mainstream then, from what I've just read up. But there was this band being discussed, with a link to their website, or else I Googled the link, and the site's forums were really busy, with these long rambling threads.

Maybe it was another band with 'Arctic', or 'Monkeys' in the title, but not both...

I saw these boys on MTV2 last night and must admit, they sounded pretty decent! Something I wasn't expecting with a name like that. Saying that though, I'm a fan of 'The Arcade Fire' as well.

Ooh i went to see these at the leeds festival the other week. It said in the program to go watch them because it'd be the equivelant of when the foo fighters played their first UK gig at reading and it was packed out. So i did, and they were ver good, they're very young as well, 17-19 i think, from sheffield.
