Busted did an interview in one of the guitar magazines a long while ago, giving the impression that they were milking the fame they`d found and weren`t happy with the music at all.

I think many people have had crappy jobs that they aren`t too happy with, it`s just charlie`s might have been a little more public than most

I would`t say his past music makes his current music any worse, but I would expect a lot of stick from your mates, and a gig attended by "a noticably younger" audience

I'm personally a fairly big fan of these guys.

I respect Charlie for having the wantons to break away from a group that effectively had it all to start something that he really wanted to do even moreso than Busted.

As far as their music goes, I think it's great that a British band is making some decent dents in the metal scene that appears to be dominated by American based bands also. I think their album is due out in the next few weeks as well, I know I'll be getting it as I've been gagging to hear the rest of their material. Grand Unification Pt 1 is the best one for me so far.

Maybe his current venture will be attended by a load of kids, but it was the same as when I saw Yellowcard the other night. I had a distinct height advantage to a lot of the crowd if you know what I mean

Well it's a good thing that my mates here wanted to go as well. At least then I can give them stick as well....

I've not long got a copy of the album Grand Unification and can safely say it's the nuts!

It rules, no doubt...

Plus the gig was awsome... once they switched Charley's mic on....

And it's true what they say.... Emo kids don't jump....

Yeah much respect to Charlie for what he did! I just don't think Fightstar are any different or special to anyone else in their genre. But I do like listening to them nonetheless.
