Not paying £60 for a ticket 'tho.....
Did it for Aerosmith, would do it for Tom Petty but no-one else.

Where you getting £60 from? It's £40 plus fees so prolly £50 max, but there are prolly gonna be loads more bands seeing as gates open at 2pm.
Saw them twice while I was in Dublin.
Great both times well worth the cash
2004 gig was supported by The Darkness (before they were famous) and Linkin Park
The Darkness made the mistake of proudly announcing they were from England and were met by complete silence
Metallica rocked - the tracks from St Anger are far better live, with the full on stadium rock drums of other Metallica albums.
Really didn't like that album till I heard it live.
Crowd actually turned angry when they after 2 encores didn't do "Whiskey"
They rectified that lapse at the 2005 gig - enjoyed that far more, as I had a seat, rather than being trampled in the mosh pit as at the 2004 gig....
Slipknot & someone else opened for them in 2005 - didn't really care - I was only there for Metallica
