Fave of this season hadta be 'Chosen'.

Highlights:

Shouting "You're not special! You're not special!" to Buffy on the screen I was currently watching it on.

More fighting in that one episode than the whole of the rest of the season put together.

My actual fave isn't among the listed.
The ep I chose was my fave from the listed, but none of the one's listed were even in my top 5 really. *shrug*

Chosen had to be my fave purely on the level of emotional impact it had. Sure, the ending was predictable, but i thought it was a fab way to end the whole thing

Amen. Where the blazes is wickedly oedipal "Lies My Parents Told Me"?

A companion piece to "Fool For Love" was always going to be worth the price of admission, and while this episode could never hope to equal its illustrious predecessor, it was a strong story in its own right -- which at a stroke seperates it from the rest of the season.

Framed around a haunting folk song with some very dark history, it gave us back the amoral, acerbic Spike of many years past. It had a great teaser set in Seventies New York, an extremely creepy flashback (complete with Dru!), and gave me the deeply satisfiying sight of Principal Wood having the stuffing beaten out of him.

More of this and less of The First Slayers Club moping around the Summers' increasingly-claustrophobic home would have done season seven the power of good.
