I tend to watch a repeat on terrestrial if I stumble over it and have nothing else on, but otherwise I aquire my epps via other means.

Yup this poll is in no way condoning downloading episodes from the internet, its just an exercise to see how peoples habbits break down.

I actually tend to watch mostly on cable (sky one or scifi) but I do dislike the way that both they and terristrial channels seem to think that its ok to mess with scheduling of genre programmes to stupid o'clock time slots. Terristrial started that bad habit, I remember things like Highlander being a fantastic evening viewing on cable at the time, and then seeing ITV stick it on a midnight slot !!! Do these people have no idea

Sky/Cable seem to be getting just as bad, even when they have been running for weeks/months ... I'm thinking things like Alias season 2 and more irritating when the last 3 eps of Odyssey5 suddenly disappeared and weeks later I found they'd been moved to sky one mix (something I didn't have at the time)

I'm also rather peeved at last week having programmes like Cold Case and the Handler and all the relevant repeats hoisted off air in favour of football gossip .... I think network schedules wouldn't know a good programme if it hit them in the face (yes I'm not a happy bunny!! )

The only thing I tend to "acquire" in advance is Angel and Alias - and I normally end up rewatching them on sky later anyway.

I know it isn't a debate on downloading, but I can see why people do it when all we want to do is see the shows that we want to watch that seem to take forever or never make it to proper stable UK viewing

I tend to download new episodes of my favourite shows (such as Alias, Angel or Smallville and watch some lesser stuff on the tv.

When I get round to watching the flatmate dominated-TV, I watch occaisional eps of stuff on terrestrial (No Channel 5 = no Angel... noooo!) otherwise it's DVD for me!

I have occassionaly downloaded things from the internet, but most of my watching is from the TV/dvd's...
