My votes for the money thing, based on the cancellation of Angel. I think there are still loads of Sci-fi shows out there but there aren't really any left that are good.

The future is films, comic based movies like spiderman or xmen and the firefly TRILOGY(I can be hopeful), its where good sci-fi/fantasy now exists.

And who knows maybe there'll be som moire cancelled sci-fi show films, ANGEL, BUFFY, DARK ANGEL, ROSWELL.......
