Birds of Prey

Anyone seen the trailer for this upcoming series?

The show is a loose adaption of a comic of the same name, it concerns a trio of female crimefighters:

The Huntress, result of a fling between Catwoman and Batman

The Oracle, used to be Batgirl, until a certain clown faced villain confined her to a wheelchair.

Black Canary, a troubled young psychic woman.

The trio protect Gotham years after Batman as vanished...

The trailer is very very impressive, and seems to be 50%Angel 25% Batman 25% Charlies Angels

If it was Wolverine's universe then...

Well, Wolverine of course is Marvel, so there's just the one of him.

Oh yeah; except for Age of Apocalypse, where he's Weapon X.

And I suppose he might be someone else in the Mutant X reality as well.

Comic book continuity; what's up with that?

I'm up to Episode 4 now and still enjoying it , it seems to have a Dark Angel vibe to it as I've already said , The only thing I don't like is that there is a bit too much swirling and Swooping CGI camera work for my liking , otherwise Thumbs Up

Episode 5 now watched and the series is still chugging along nicely , still too much bad CGI and the show always seems to rush to end once the conclusion of the weeks story has finshed , they are starting to flesh out the characters a littlr bit more and add some back story , This one series I'll keep watching , until it no doubts gets cancelled

I've still not managed to see a single episode

I guess I'll have to do a marathon if they ever release the box sets or maybe just maybe it comes to terrestrial TV !!!

Wobag Time is an illusion, lunchtime doubly so...

Yup its been confirmed today, despite massive viewing figures for the pilot, they flocked away afterwards.

Of the initial 13 episodes ordered only 8 have been made, whether the full 13 will be completed is uncertain.

Ah well
