Jonathan Creek
Noone seems to be bothered about this show but me, but its been one of the cleverest funniest shows made in recent years by the BBC (and its not another cop or medical drama).
The first few episodes were the best, but heres hoping these ones have been worth the wait.
If you want to give it a try, its on BBC1 on Saturday at 9pm

I always thought these were fun and definately very cleverly thought out, but also still retained an element of humour without dissappearing up certain of its own orifices
If I'm not doing something away from the TV, this may well get viewed
That guy has worse hair than me though

I loved Jonathan Creek! (Not the guy, the show) I thought it was great last time it was on. If I'm around I'll certainly be watching it.

I loved it when it started out!!! and I love Jonathan creek the guy too *swoon* I think it went downhill somewhat when Caroline Quentin left... The contrast and sexual tension between the two characters worked really well.
I've got saturday nights ep on video (it clashes with Taken so there's no chance of watching it live!) so we shall see if the mysteries ramain as complex and gripping and "d'oh why didn't i realise that was how it was done"

Does anyone know where it's gone?
There's was only about 3 episodes on tv on saturday nights and then there was the Test the Nation thing and some murder game now.
Surely that wasn't the only episodes? (even though, i have to agree with syd, it seemed better with Caroline Quentin)

The scripts for the second 3 werent ready in time to be filmed, so they showed three, and are making the second three in the summer to show in the autumn.
I've always loved the show. I have to agree with eveyone though - it was better when Caroline Quentin was in it. I like Julia Sawahla but the character of Maddy was so much better than her character.
Incidentally the last 3 episodes:
Seer of the Sands
The Chequered Box and
Gorgons Wood
Are due to show around Christmas or new year

Hah! Tell me about it! At least you've got a decent head start on me, with the Buffy boxsets and anything else. All I've got is 24 1 & 2, when I'm after the ones for Buffy, Angel, SG-1, Smallville, West Wing, etc....
