well to be honest i used to love star wrs it was an obsession, i still love the originals but i really don't give a damn about the new one now, episode 1 was ok but this looks worse. i'll probably give it a gange thoguh.

Well, i for one think Attack of the Clones looks very good. Admittedly, a trailer can be made to make any film look good (especially when made my LucasFilm, as proved by the Phantom Menace trailer), but i think AotC could be very good.

It's a May 16th UK release date, isn't it? About ten days before we go on holiday, thankfully, so we'll definitely be booking well in advance for that.

Once bitten ... I got excited about episode 1 and the best bit of that was the Fox fanfare.

I have to say that the 3rd trailer made the film look truly awful, unless you find Anakin and princess blah blah making goo goo eyes at one another riveting cinema that is.

Plot wise TPM could have been so much better and I think most of the best bits were in the trailers for it. But. I'm afraid that Natalie Portman making goo goo eyes full stop is enough to get my bum on a cinema seat (probably several times )

I'm also looking forward to seeing the rest of the film as some of the visuals look absolutely breathtaking!!!

AotC does indeed look like it will rock though.

There's an initial review here, some of the stuff he talks about is interesting, but whether it's as good as he says it is, is another matter.. (He thought TPM was the best thing ever, until a lot of people started to disagree with him, at which point he completely changed his tune..)

Ive got to agree with Inc on this one shock I know

Frankly the first film was shockingly rubbish the trailer for this one that ive seen looks bad. Ill be pessimistic about this one that way ill not be dissapointed.

I'm not so sure. I went to see it with a bunch of friends and we were all so disappointed we decided to see The Mummy as well so the day wouldn't be a total washout. Now that was a film that rocked!

I can be objective about star wars as I saw all of them fairly close together. So TPM - about as good as the first star wars(OK with impressive visual effects for the time). The best star wars to date - the Empire Strikes back. Here's hoping Attack of the Clones is nearly as good. The story looks very intriging and it looks as though it should be a good film. I can't wait to see Yoda with a lightsabre.
