I heard about this today and i'm rather curious and pretty excited about it at the same time. It'll be nice to see some new stuff from David after eight years of playing a vampire.
Boreanaz returns to series TV
David Boreanaz has signed on to star in a crime drama from ABC.
Film writer Patrick Smith Kelly (Don't Say a Word) is penning the script, which would feature Boreanaz as an undercover cop in the seedy world of murder for hire.
Indie films (Mr. Fix It and The Hard Easy are finished, he's filming These Girls) under his belt and a possible starring role in a crime drama if it comes through.
Mr Boreanaz shouldn't have trouble paying the bills.

Wait now you mention it, Boreanaz (with the slightly spiky hair and the leather jacket he wore on Angel, etc.), the possible noir-ish slant ("seedy world of murder for hire" ), the 'undercover cop' theme... this is giving me Max Payne flashbacks. (Heh, Boreanaz jumping about like a tit dodging bullets in cheesy Matrix Bullet Time... funny!)
All the more reason to watch it!

I was thinking the total same there!

And there was me expecting everybody to read my rambling and go "Wha... Huh?" (Seriously!)

But, then again this *is* T21 of all places, so I guess my obscure little nerdisms aren't all that obscure...

i agree, everyone here has something different about them.
being a cop isnt realy a big leap from being a private investigator though.(even if he isnt a vamp) laters.
