I thought it was fab! A friend had some videos which I borrowed a few years ago, and I still thought it was great - I'm just a big kid at heart I suppose

Sapphire and Steel
Who remembers Sapphire and Steel - Joanna Lumley and David McCallum, mildly spooky kids tv from the late 70's (early 80's perhaps?)
I thought it was really good - but that might be my aged memory playing tricks!

It wasn't something I went out of my way to watch all those years ago (!) but my dad did (as I understand it for the JL factor) and I caught a few, liked what I saw. Would like to see it again I think.

Yeah I'm with Red on this one .. wasn't something I watched all the time and really can't remeber what it was all about but I would like to watch it again

It was a great show, and apparently the creator and the actors were all up for a revival a few years back, but problems arose as to who had the rights to it. Seems ITC lost their copy of the contract after they sold it overseas, and that led to problems.

Oh I remember this very well, it used to really scare me with some of the eps.
In particular I remember an episode where people were turned into their component parts, glass was turned into sand etc. Also an ep where they were sucked into a picture & I think another team of er, elements or whatever they were had to come & help them out.
I will be getting the dvd's for this so please can we make sure a link does go up in the merch forum when they are available ? I want these!

I loved Sapphire and Steel and have never seen it since watching it first time round on ITV. I was quite young at the time and some eps were really scary - especially the photographs one. I'd love to see them again!

S&S rocked, and Adventure 4 with the monster trapped in photographs remains an all time fave of mine.
It didnt last long enough to become a real classic but if you like spooky or you like Dr Who, its a must.

I used to love this programme, hubby & I were discussing the Ring of Roses one the other day and agreed that it scared us the first time round.
Would love to see it again to find out if that was the case!
