Extras - the new sit-com written by, directed by and starring Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, the two genii who brought us The Office.

The series started last Thursday. Anyone else watch it? I thought it was pretty good, some very funny moments. It's too early yet to say whether it's got what it takes to become a classic, but I'm certainly gonna keep watching. It could be, like The Office, that while individual episodes are good it's only from watching the series as a whole that it's true greatness comes out. It's actually a completely different kettle of fish to The Office, so it's not really fair to compare the two. However comparisons are inevitable so what the hell!
