Timelord becomes Hero?

In what might turn out to be one of the coolest casting decisions ever, 9th Doctor Christopher Eccleston looks set to join the cast of the years best new Scifi show, Heroes.

TV Guide has annouced Eccleston will join the cast in January, but its not been made clear if its a guest spot, a defined arc or something more permanent.

Eccleston previously tried to crack the American market, albeit via film, but failed totally. Not one for long running TV shows, Ecclestons career has not been on a high note since controvertially leaving the role of Timelord after just one season.

One roll certainly springs to mind who I dont think has yet to be full seen on Heroes...

He could be Sylar! That would be amazing.

Whoever he plays I'll bet it will be bloody fantatsic. Even more excited about Heroes than I was already (and I was pretty excited by it all anyway.)

Edit: Okay so a quick IMDB search shows that Sylar is being played by someone who is not Eccleston, but who is equally as cool.

Bryany Ah, youth is wasted on the wrong people.

Oooohh Cool!

It won't last long though. He gets bored easily and always moves on from roles.
