something came up in conversation a couple of weeks ago, and i was wondering if the geeks, erm, i mean, lovely people in here may be able to shed any light on the matter.
there was a short-lived tv show, broadcast in the UK somewhere between '84 & '86, aimed pretty much specifically at the same market as the a-team (ie, 10-16 year old boys).
the full-length pilot concerned an odball team of free-thinkers and mavericks who built a space-craft (typical 3-stage rocket launch vehicle) from scrap with the intention of going to the moon and retrieving one of the lunar rovers used by the later apollo teams (apollo 14, if memory serves) - apparently, the rover would be worth far more than the budget for construction and operation of the space vehicle used to retrieve it from the lunar surface!
someone suggested that it was called scavanger one, but i cant find any trace of a show with a name anything like this anywhere, so im thinking this may be incorrect - anyone got any ideas?

Wesley - Go ahead and hate your neighbor; go ahead and cheat a friend.
- Do it in the name of heaven; you can justify it in the end.
I actually remember that.....well there's a glimmer of something anyway...
no idea what it's called....
mad "dont ask me to apologise if i get your back up, youre mistaking me for someone who gives a f*ck" - the dust junkys, nothin' personal
typical - i ask for help tracking something down, then find it myself...
ok, so its a bit earlier than i thought, but it was called salvage 1 - although the pilot, which is what i remember, was just called salvage.
sometimes, im so good, i even impress myself...
